Interesting Projects Undertaken
I like to learn, and I learn well. Innovative and intellectually stimulating ideas appeal to me, and I have an aptitude for research. I have strong analytical and technical skills.

I worked on Web Crawling, Artificial Intelligence (Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning), and Information Retrieval, at Smarte Inc. Here, I led a small team of bright, young software engineers to build a Web Data Mining Application, using Java and MySQL. 
I was the primary architect of this system, and also the principal developer; I developed and implemented the core logic, along with most of the techniques and algorithms used here. I personally worked with various Text Mining and Machine Learning tools and libraries like GATE, LibSVM, WordNet, and OpenNLP.

I develop and maintain a free, ready-to-use, easy-to-configure, multi-threaded web-crawler and Information Retrieval system - Infant.

As a freelancer, I developed an advanced anti-piracy and licensing software for the Win32 platform, complete with Anti-Debugger protection, Hardware Based Key Generation, Strong Encryption, Binary Change Detection, and Network Support. This involved some interesting elements of System Programming, Cryptography, Win32 Internals, and Digital Security. 
The core modules of this product were written in VC++6 and some encapsulating ActiveX DLLs were developed in VB6.
